About Sarah

"Over the years I have developed a success formula that has never failed me.

In 2008 I made a commitment to double my income and work no more than 3 days a week so I could start a family. In 2009 I started my own business and achieved my goal in 2010"

Sarah is an entrepreneur who has over 23 years of business experience and 12 years as a Business Owner.  She is also an advocate and active participant in living a joyful life alcohol-free.

She started coaching in 2004, and her passion is to help motivated individuals set meaningful goals, overcome obstacles, activate resources, and realise their full potential in both personal and professional life.

Sarah's business success, coaching background, and diverse life experience, mean she has the knowledge and understanding to work with a wide range of people.  She loves helping those who have big ideas, ambitions, and plans but need guidance and support to get started. 'I work with people who are excited by the possibility of creating change in their lives but need help getting clarity, motivation, and momentum.

Together we uncover what it is exactly that you want to achieve, what is holding you back, and then we find creative, unique, and sustainable strategies to keep you moving forward toward your dreams and goals'

Her approach is supportive, direct, and action-oriented and requires a commitment and willingness to embrace the uncomfortable and take direct action to create change.

Success Formula

As humans, there are times in life where we all need support, insight, and accountability to truly succeed. As such, I have had consistent coaching, counselling, and therapy over the years to keep me on track.

My formula for success hinges on the following fundamental principles and beliefs.

  • I believe that everyone does the best they can with the tools they have. But not everyone seeks the best, most up to date tools.  Coaching provides relevant and practical tools to help us achieve what we want in our lives focused on the why, the what, and the how.

  • I always keep an open mind. Developing the skill to see as many distinctions as possible in situations and people’s behavior ( including one's own) provides extensive choice and possibility. We then have the ultimate power to decide on how we look at every situation and challenge and, in turn, gain more control and joy in life every day.

  • Knowledge, understanding, and acceptance of the self is the only way to sculpt a truly meaningful future. The cultivation of self-compassion is critical. This is the seed from which all good, lasting things grow.

Background & Training

First and foremost, I apply all the techniques and training I have learned to my own life.  I have a fascination for uncovering blind spots and harnessing the power of the mind and body. Over the years, I have worked with many well-respected coaches and counselors and have developed a systematic approach, always seeking new learnings and techniques to explore life with awareness and a laser focus on what is truly important.

IN 2003 I completed The Results Coach Training. From there, I undertook counseling and advanced coaching studies.

After losing both of my parents and ending my unhealthy relationship with alcohol, I decided to combine all my learnings & experiences to do what I love most, helping others.

In 2020 I completed Activation Method Coaching and officially launched my coaching practice. I am also working on a number of projects to increase awareness of the many benefits of living alcohol-free.

I am 47 years old, married to Chris for 15 years with two boys aged 9 and 12.  I am currently a Company Director, Coach, and aspiring writer and artist.

I am originally from the UK and came to Australia in 1999. I fell in love with Australia and did everything and anything to stay, from IT Project Management to a boiler room-style sales role! I believed I could do anything. Over the years, I talked myself (and employers ) into giving me jobs I didn’t know how to do, and whilst I was constantly out of my comfort zone, I always found a way to figure it out and succeed.

In 2003 I decided to leave a lucrative career in finance/IT and halved my income to move into magazines and study coaching. From 2003-2007 I carved a career in magazine sales and ended up heading a well-known food title.  I have always prioritised time and freedom over money, so I decided never to work more than 4 days a week again.  I moved companies, roles, and started a business.  I still stick to this ideal.

I have launched a successful business in my lifetime,  smoked a pack a day, traveled the world, struggled with alcohol, anxiety, and depression, and recently lost both my parents to aggressive cancers.  I can confidently say I understand the complexity of being human at a deep level. Now, thanks to my voracious appetite for personal growth, I have the pleasure of using all this experience, the skills, empathy, and extensive training I have taken to help others.

I’ve lived in the UK, France, Corsica, San Diego, Sydney, and Brisbane for the last 6 years.  I live with my husband, my two sons, my dog Harvey, my cat Douglas and I am definitely now ‘home.’
