Last updated: September, 2026
This Disclaimer applies to The 30-Day Reset (the “Program”) and all related content, including videos, worksheets, emails, downloads, social media content, community spaces and any other material provided by Sarah Connelly (ABN 43 295 734 064) , trading as Sarah Connelly (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing, accessing or using the Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to this Disclaimer.
- Education and coaching, not treatment
The Program is a self-led educational and coaching program designed to support people who choose to take a 30-day educational course and /or break from alcohol.
The Program is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It is not psychological therapy, counselling, or an addiction or alcohol-dependence treatment program. It does not replace advice from your doctor, psychologist, pharmacist or other qualified health professional.
Sarah Connelly is a coach and educator. Nothing in the Program creates a doctor–patient, psychologist–client or other health practitioner relationship.
- Important medical safety information
Please read this section carefully before you begin.
For some people, stopping alcohol suddenly can be unsafe. If you are physically dependent on alcohol, withdrawal can cause serious symptoms and, in some cases, can be life-threatening. Medical support is important when withdrawing from an addictive substance (Healthdirect).
Speak with your GP or a qualified health professional before starting the Program if any of the following apply to you:
- You drink alcohol every day or you regularly drink heavily.
- You have experienced withdrawal symptoms when you have stopped or cut back in the past, such as shaking, sweating, anxiety, racing heart, nausea, trouble sleeping, confusion, hallucinations or seizures.
- You feel you need a drink in the morning or to get through the day.
- You have been diagnosed with, or believe you may have, an alcohol use disorder or alcohol dependence.
- You are pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding.
- You have a physical or mental health condition, including liver disease, heart conditions, diabetes, depression, anxiety or any other ongoing condition.
- You take prescription or other medications, including medications that may interact with alcohol or with alcohol withdrawal.
Stop and seek medical help immediately if you experience severe withdrawal symptoms, such as confusion, hallucinations, seizures, severe shaking, chest pain or a very fast heart rate. In an emergency, call 000 ( USA) and 911 (AU) 999 (UK)
- Who the Program is and isn’t suitable for
The Program is intended for adults aged 18 and over who want to explore an alcohol-free period and who are able to stop drinking safely without medical supervision.
The Program is not a suitable substitute for medical or specialist care if you are alcohol dependent, experiencing withdrawal or at risk of harm. If this applies to you, we encourage you to seek professional support first. You are welcome to use the Program alongside that support, with your health professional’s approval.
- Your personal responsibility
Your participation in the Program is voluntary. You are responsible for your own health, wellbeing and decisions, including whether the Program is right for you and how you apply the information in it.
You agree to seek professional advice about your individual circumstances and not to delay or ignore medical advice because of anything you have read, watched or heard in the Program.
- No guaranteed results
Everyone’s experience with alcohol and change is different. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, including any changes to your drinking, health, sleep, weight, mood, energy, relationships or finances.
Any testimonials, stories or examples shared in the Program or on our website and social media reflect individual experiences. They are not a promise or guarantee that you will get the same or similar results.
- Research and general information
The Program may refer to research in areas such as neuroscience, psychology and health. This information is provided for general educational purposes, is summarised for a general audience and reflects our understanding at the time of creation. Research evolves, and we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current or applicable to your personal situation.
- Third-party resources and links
The Program may include links to, or mentions of, third-party websites, services, products or resources, including support services and non-alcoholic drinks. These are provided for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products or services, and a mention is not an endorsement unless we clearly state otherwise.
- Community spaces
If the Program includes a community group, comments or other shared spaces, content posted by other participants reflects their own views and experiences. It is not professional advice and has not been checked by us. Please do not rely on it as a substitute for professional support.
- Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, injury, illness, damage or harm arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Program or its content.
Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.
- Getting support
If you are concerned about your drinking or need support, you do not have to do this alone:
- Emergency: call 000
- National Alcohol and Other Drug Hotline: 1800 250 015. Free, confidential and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The line connects you to the alcohol and drug information service in your state or territory (Department of Health).
- Lifeline (crisis support): 13 11 14, 24/7
- Your GP: your doctor can help you plan safely, manage withdrawal symptoms and connect you with support services (Healthdirect).
- Changes to this Disclaimer
We may update this Disclaimer from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the “last updated” date shown at the top.
